SFCC PWA & Headless CMS Migration

At Aritzia, we recently migrated our legacy eCommerce platform — originally built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud’s SiteGenesis architecture using old-school piplines to a modern, headless setup powered by SFCC PWA, React, and Contentful CMS.

As one of the lead developers on the Ecommerce marketing team, my team and I was responsible for reimagining how content is published by our marketing teams and managed at scale. Given that Aritzia.com is a very content-rich and story-driven website, we built a fully custom integration with Contentful, enabling our marketing team to create and manage content with speed, flexibility, and confidence.

This wasn’t just a tech upgrade — it was a complete rethink of how we deliver experiences to our customers. From reusable components and campaign-driven page building, to targeted content variations and dynamic scheduling, our work helped shape a robust content infrastructure that now powers a highly flexible and performant site.
